This wasn't hard to see arriving. The ATS sedan has become Cadillac's huge hit and the second-best supplier in the collection, following only the SRX cross-over. The small sport sedan is constantly on the outpace the CTS on the revenue ground (which could modify when Cadillac releases a bigger, remodeled CTS), so a vehicle edition is a no-brainer. The sedan already draws the young customers that Caddy covets, so the 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe should provide as another access way for customers who perspective cars as too rectangle and realistic.

Cadillac will need to prevent the design therapy given to the CTS Coupe, however. The CTS two-door might entice lovers with its dense haunches, wide C-pillars and center-mounted fatigue, but most people are looking for the sedan. A more affordable technique is to simply prolong the entrance opportunities and blend the ceiling range, not compared with on the new 2014 BMW 4 Sequence, the ATS Coupe's primary designed competing.
Powertrain options should reflection the sedan, along with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder good for 202 horse power, a 272-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter four and a 3.6-liter V6 that provides 321 hp and 274 pound-feet of twisting. Anticipate a six-speed sedan across the panel, with an optionally available six-speed guide for the 2.0-liter turbocompresseur and gradually, all-wheel generate.
We also expect the 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe to bring the newest -- and challenge we wish, enhanced -- edition of the CUE infotainment program. The huge swipe-and-tap touchscreen show display is snazzy, as are the touch-sensitive environment and sound management control buttons, but none of that issues when the program provides slowly reaction and needs needless focus while generating. CUE has been one of our least preferred components of the present ATS; perhaps the Coupe will provide a rejuvenated edition that performs.
The Cadillac ATS Coupe should hit show rooms by the springtime of 2014. Return for a complete evaluation of the ATS Coupe, such as generating opinions, specifications and purchasing guidance as it becomes available.
