2014 Cadillac CTS-V Sedan Review

Preliminary
Cadillac first released its CTS-V super sedan for 2009. Now available in vehicle and chariot form, the CTS-V provides a fantastic balance between a relaxed drive and accurate managing along with an incredibly effective revved-up V8 based on the Corvettes ZR1.

That V8, a 6.2-liter revved-up unit known as the "LSA," is a incredible 556 horse power to go along with 551 pound-feet of twisting. The engine's tremendous power is due in part to a sixth-generation Eaton supercharger, which reduces the added disturbance previously associated with revved-up engines, and firmly manages consumption air temperature for better performance.

Transmission choices include either a Tremec TR6060 six-speed guide or a Hydra-Matic 6L90 six-speed automated with steering-wheel-mounted exercise shifters. Manually-equipped CTS-Vs tip the machines at 4,200 weight and return 14/19 mpg at the push, with the automated adding another 100 weight and decreasing usage to 12/18 mpg.

The CTS-V's external is outlined by a capable grill and lower consumption, a shaped bonnet with an engine stick out, 19-inch tires, broader bumpers and quad tailpipes.

GM carried its Attractive Ride Management (MRC) revocation program over from the ZR1 to the CTS-V. The technological innovation uses excitement managed by electro-magnets, rather than technical valves. This makes MRC the fastest-reacting revocation technological innovation, according to GM. Electronic receptors at all four tires "read the road" every nanosecond, making continuous improvements to damping to create a sleek drive when appropriate, and a firm drive when required. The technological innovation stops body roll during hard sides, yet keeps travelers relaxed while visiting.

Another digital program Performance Hold Management is a traction control technological innovation obtained from tournament rushing. While most traction control programs observe and control rim slide for improved drivability in poor conditions, PTM manages twisting distribution to immediately match the available wheel grip for maximum speeding.

The sedan's Brembo braking program function six cylinders per caliper in advance part and four per caliper at the back. The top part braking program were remodeled for the latest model year and function a new two-piece that helps you to save weight, provides greater level of potential to deal with bending and elongates blades life.

Standard equipment includes set furniture, warmed seat, routing, HID headlamps, Attractive Ride Management and Brembo braking program. Several options are available, namely a program with Recaro warmed and vented front part seats, refined 19-inch metal tires, "midnight Sapele wood" and a suede guiding wheel/shift handle program.

Occupant Safety
All CTS models come conventional with double front part, front part side and full-length part layer safety bags in addition to traction and balance control systems and a tire-pressure tracking program.
